Dentons Hong Kong advised Wanguo Gold Group Limited (万国黄金集团有限公司) (3939.HK) ("Wanguo Gold") on its acquisition of 20.22% interest in AXF Gold Ridge Pty Limited ("Target Company") by issuance of consideration shares to the vendors for a total consideration of approximately HK$733 million.

Wanguo Gold is a company established in the Cayman Islands, which, together with its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in the business of mining, ore processing and sale of concentrates products in the PRC and Solomon Islands. The Target Company is a company incorporated in Australia and through its subsidiary operates the Gold Ridge Project, a gold resource project located in the Solomon Islands.
