We are delighted to announce that Julianne Doe, Senior Consultant, is Dentons’ first lawyer to pass the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Legal Professional Examination, the first exam to qualify Hong Kong lawyers for practicing Mainland Chinese law in the nine Mainland municipalities in the GBA. The GBA exam represents the Mainland central government’s steps in increasing connectivity between Hong Kong, Macau and the nine southern cities, a move which will facilitate Hong Kong’s role as a technology and finance hub as well as a center for international legal and dispute resolution services.
