Discrimination or harassment in the workplace is a prevalent issue in Hong Kong. A survey carried out by the Equal Opportunities Commission revealed that 18% of the respondents had experienced discrimination or harassment when seeking a job or during their work. In this webinar, we will review the key concepts under existing anti-discrimination laws in Hong Kong with a focus on workplace discrimination and explore equal opportunities issues that may arise in the employment context with reference to case law. We will also discuss dispute resolution options and best practices in cultivating an equitable workplace.
